This romantic, 10-night Cook Islands Vacation is perfect for a couple looking for island adventure. We put this vacation package together for a couple from Vancouver who wanted a luxurious island getaway with plenty of indulgence. We sent them to Nautilus Resort Rarotonga, where they stayed in a beachfront villa. They spent part of their Romantic Cook Islands Vacation package enjoying the gorgeous ocean views, gourmet meals, relaxing Polynesian spa treatments, and their private saltwater plunge pool overlooking the white sands of Rarotonga.
Then they took off to the neighboring island of Aitutaki. While there, they took a cruise in a traditional vaka and went snorkeling in the brilliant blue waters of the island’s large lagoons before enjoying a romantic picnic on the beach. They had several days of leisure to simply relax and indulge in the laid-back island lifestyle. They loved soaking in their private plunge pool, listening to the gently lapping waves and gazing out over the dramatic sunset with drinks in hand.
But their Romantic Cook Islands Vacation had some adventures, as well. They decided to rent bicycles one day to explore the lush tropical island and visit secluded beaches. Rarotonga’s flat and beautiful landscape makes it perfect for easy bike riding with breathtaking views around every corner. They also stopped at some local markets for delicious fresh produce and gifts to bring back home.
During their Romantic Cook Islands Vacation, they decided to indulge in a fabulous scenic flight over the island. They loved the views of the inland valleys and plantations, and watching the turquoise reef drop off into the deep blue ocean. It was certainly a romantic highlight of their trip! Their final evening in the Cook Islands was spent relaxing and being pampered in their gorgeous villa.
