This Australia Adventure Vacation was planned for a couple who loved the beach and wanted unique experiences in Australia. And of course, they wanted to see the one and only Great Barrier Reef! This vacation was the perfect beach getaway with plenty of fun adventures.

They started their Australia Adventure Vacation in sunny Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. They loved seeing the art and culture of this cosmopolitan city. Then they stayed 2 nights at Tangalooma Island Resort, where they had beautiful views of the beach and Moreton Bay. The highlight of any visit to Tangalooma is the opportunity to hand-feed one of the wild bottlenose dolphins that visit the shores each evening at sunset. They had plenty of free time to soak up the sunshine on the gorgeous beach just a short walk from their room, and they also decided to rent some bicycles to explore the area around their resort.

Next for their Australia Adventure Vacation, they headed to Port Douglas so they could explore the magnificent Great Barrier Reef. They spent a day on the reef snorkeling in 3 different spots, swimming with fish and coral they had never seen before. They even got to see a few reef sharks! They also took a day to explore the ancient Daintree Rainforest with an Aboriginal guide who gave them exclusive access to secluded areas of the rainforest. They learned about the medicinal uses of the unique plants, visited a hidden-away swimming hole, went spear fishing for mud crabs, and gained unique insight into the local Kuku Yalanji culture.

They returned home with memories to last a lifetime—and some amazing pictures from their time in Australia. On the plane home, they were already planning their next visit!
