We designed this Romantic Cook Islands: Beach Villa Vacation for a young couple from Austin, Texas who wanted a quick island getaway to relax and unwind. We sent them to the luxurious Te Vakaroa Villas in the Cook Islands.
Set right on Muri Beach, Te Vakaroa Villas is a remarkable gated haven, offering unsurpassed views of the Muri Lagoon and beyond the reef to the South Pacific Ocean. They loved their bright, spacious villa and the spectacular view of the ocean from their floor-to-ceiling sliding doors.
On arrival to the island of Rarotonga, they were greeted at the airport and treated to a private hotel transfer. A chilled bottle of sparkling champagne and a tropical fruit platter were waiting for them in their villa. They spent the day on the beach, relaxing after their journey and exploring the grounds of their fabulous resort.

They had a rental car for 2 days to explore the island of Rarotonga, plus plenty of time to unwind at the resort and soak up beautiful island views. From kayaking and snorkeling in the Muri Lagoon to lounging in the infinity pool with delicious cocktails, their days at Te Vakaroa Villas were entirely at leisure.
At last, it was time to say goodbye to the gorgeous Cook Islands. They received a private transfer to the airport, where they caught their flight home.

Day 1
Welcome to the idyllic Cook Islands! Fly to the island of Rarotonga, where you’ll receive a meet and greet at the airport and a private transfer to Te Vakaroa Villas. Enjoy a welcome bottle of champagne and complimentary fruit platter on arrival. Leave the real world behind and immerse yourself in a tropical island oasis surrounded by the unspoiled beauty of Rarotonga. Your luxurious villa is just steps away from the world-renowned Muri Lagoon.

Day 2 – 10
Enjoy romance and adventure in your tropical paradise. Muri Lagoon is a water playground for snorkeling, kayaking, kite surfing and swimming. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment are complimentary for those who want to pull themselves away from their luxurious villa to explore the attractions of the lagoon. For a more leisurely afternoon, lounge in the infinity pool with incredible views of the South Pacific Ocean. Daily tropical breakfasts will be served in your villa, and you can enjoy romantic dining options at Sails restaurant, poolside, or in the privacy of your room.
You will also be able to rent a car for 2 days and explore all that the island of Rarotonga has to offer. Visit secluded white sand beaches and hike to hidden treasures.
One day during your stay, take a scenic flight and day trip to Aitutaki. Jaw-dropping views, relaxing atmosphere, swimming and snorkelling spots teeming with an array of colourful tropical fish and majestic giant trevallies, visits to sun-soaked islets (motus) and tropical buffet lunch make up for an unforgettable day. It is an experience no visitor to the Cook islands should miss!
