This Australia Honeymoon Package is the ultimate island getaway. We designed this honeymoon for a couple from Chicago who wanted a romantic escape on an island paradise. They spent 7 fabulous nights at Lizard Island Resort, the northernmost island resort on the Great Barrier Reef.
They arrived at Lizard Island via scenic flight over the seemingly endless cerulean ocean with spectacular views of the reef below. They checked into their luxurious beach view room and were treated to delicious champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Their Australia Honeymoon Package allowed them to spend each day enjoying the romantic atmosphere at their leisure. They visited the relaxing Island Essence spa for a rejuvenating couple’s spa treatment and snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef for a spectacular underwater experience. They spent a romantic and adventurous day exploring the gorgeous private beaches in a motorized dinghy with a gourmet picnic basket packed by the resort.
During their stay, they were also treated to a romantic, private dinner on the beach, as well as a private sunset cruise with gourmet champagne and cheese. Lounging on the boat with nothing but sparkling water and gorgeous, colorful skies all around was an unforgettable escape.
On their Australia Honeymoon Package, they also took advantage of Lizard Island Resort’s many complimentary activities, including snorkeling, glass-bottomed boat cruises, tennis, paddle skiing, and nature walks. During their entire stay, they enjoyed the utmost privacy, romance, and luxury. They enjoyed another scenic air transfer and landed at the airport in Cairns.
While in Cairns, they enjoyed two days enjoying the city and the beach. And for a special touch during their Australia Honeymoon Package, they took a hot air balloon ride over the area.
Next on their Australia Honeymoon Package, they flew to the exciting and cosmopolitan Sydney. They stayed at The Langham Sydney, a fabulous luxury hotel nestled into a quiet oasis near the city center. They enjoyed walking around the city, finding fun new restaurants and pubs to try. They cruised on Sydney Harbour do a progressive lunch onboard with stops at several hot spots for appetizers, entrees and desserts, coupled with wine of course.
Finally, their magical island honeymoon came to an end, after their transfer to the airport in Sydney, they started their journey home.
