This South Australia and Fiji Luxury Travel Package was planned for a couple from Chicago who hadn’t done a honeymoon and now were celebrating their 5-year anniversary. They loved food and wine, beaches, and beautiful outdoor settings. We sent them to some of our favorite luxury lodges in Australia, each of which boasts incredible culinary experiences in some of Australia’s most scenic regions. Then they finished at an incredible resort in Fiji where gourmet food and drink are included in the room rate.
We started their South Australia and Fiji Luxury Travel Package in Australia’s hidden gem, Margaret River, located on the isolated west coast. They stayed at the fabulous Cape Lodge in the heart of wine country. From their luxurious accommodations, they enjoyed easy access to world-class wineries, gourmet cuisine, and pristine beaches.
Next, they traveled to Kangaroo Island, where they were transferred to the incomparable Southern Ocean Lodge. This remarkable lodge offers a truly exclusive luxury experience in a breathtaking setting, with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Our clients were pampered with handcrafted menus and private wildlife tours of the secluded island. One of the highlights of their trip was an evening spent enjoying delicious canapés in an open field with wild kangaroos.
Continuing their South Australia and Fiji Luxury Travel Package, they traveled to The Louise in the famous Barossa Valley wine region. While there, they enjoyed the amazing fortified wines in the area and an unforgettable dinner at the world-famous restaurant, Appellation, right at their hotel. Then the couple traveled to Tasmania for some outdoor adventure and beautiful scenery at Saffire Freycinet. Here, they enjoyed wine tasting and a delicious lunch in the Tamar Valley.
Last on their South Australia and Fiji Luxury Travel Package, they enjoyed an exotic honeymoon experience at Namale Resort & Spa in Fiji. Located in a lush, beautiful, romantic island setting, Namale offers the ultimate getaway with impeccable service. During their stay in Fiji, our clients were treated to a special romantic picnic under a waterfall and a special private dinner under the stars.
After 3 nights in paradise, it was time to say goodbye to the South Pacific and begin their journey home.
Begin your luxury vacation in Perth, Australia’s most remote capital city. Pick up your rental car and make a scenic drive to the fabulous Margaret River wine region. Your home for the next 4 nights is Cape Lodge, a luxury boutique hotel located on 40 acres of manicured parkland, ornamental pools, and even an 8-acre vineyard. Your room is just minutes from pristine beaches, the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean, and the great Margaret River wine estates of Mosswood, Vasse Felix, Cullen, and Pierro.

Southern Ocean Lodge
Enjoy a leisurely morning soaking up the beautiful views from Southern Ocean Lodge. Then, it’s on to your next foodie destination, the Barossa Valley. Board a quick flight to Adelaide, where a private car will whisk you away to The Louise, a breathtaking luxury lodge where food and wine are paramount. No stay here is complete without a visit to the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, Appellation, just a short walk from your front door.
Sit back, relax, and take a luxurious private wine tour in an air-conditioned 1962 Daimler. Your personal wine guide, John Baldwin, is a passionate wine lover and has been touring The Barossa since 1994. He will introduce you to lots of locals, including winemakers who will be keen to share their stories with you. Tour with John and taste the wines, see the grand architecture, and learn about the valley’s history and culture. You can visit the homes of iconic wine labels such as Penfolds, Yalumba, and Seppeltsfield, or concentrate on the smaller boutique gems and up-and-coming labels. On this private epicurean tour, anything is possible, including cheese and olive oil tastings, boutique beers, and farmer’s markets.
Time to head off for the rugged island-state of Tasmania and spend an evening in Launceston. Built on the site of an old dry dock, your hotel this evening is designed in the shape of a ship, giving it a distinct nautical ambience. Launceston is set at the head of the picturesque Tamar Valley and boasts magnificent natural attractions, including the spectacular Cataract Gorge.
