Day 1  Nadi - Castaway Island Resort
Arrive early into the Nadi airport and board your catamaran for Castaway Island. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a hearty “BULA!!” by the amazing Fijian staff who will all know your name by tomorrow. Get comfortable in your spacious Beachfront Bure and let the  “Fijian way” begin to permeate your body and relax your soul.  This package is an all inclusive meal package with many non-motorized activities also included.  We challenge you to not wear shoes your entire stay!

Day 2 - 7 Fiji Beach and Adventure Resort (B,L,D)
Days are at your leisure to explore the island.  Visit Shell Village to interact with locals and have the chance to meet a real Fijiian village chief. If you are lucky, you will be there during rugby season and you can attend a rugby match played by local teams! You will have to opportunity to learn about the environmental initiatives on the island including the coral repopulation efforts and the giant clam restoration program. Other optional activities include: island hopping cruise, dolphin safari, snorkeling, sailing, volleyball, and bushwalking.  

Enjoyed the movie 'Castaway', they can even take you over to the actual island where the movie was filmed for a beach picnic.

If you are seeking a relaxing Fiji beach vacation, Castaway may be the perfect fit for you.  Built on a peninsula, the resort has two great beaches either side of the main center of the resort.  Dining options include a wood fired pizza bar open for snacks, a wonderful buffet breakfast and extensive menu for dinner for such a small resort.  Giant blue star fish are the signature feature of the coral gardens surrounding this island.  Simply grab your snorkel gear and wade straight into the ocean in front of your beachfront bure.  Coconut trees are scattered over the island, and if you find one fallen from the tree, the staf will show you how they husk it with stick before handing it to you to drink.  Not only does Castaway have some of the best beaches in Fiji, the resort team will make sure you leave feeling relaxed and recharged for the hussle and bustle of the outside world.

Day 8  Depart (B)
Spend your morning say “goodbye” to your newfound family. You will leave Castaway Island feeling like you are leaving friends you have known your whole life. Take the boat back to Nadi and fly home. You will already be planning your next visit so you can catch up with your old friends in Fiji!
