Day 1
Arrive into Hobart, collect your mid size automatic rental car and make your way into the city. Your hotel is located on Hobart’s waterfront and is Australia’s first dedicated art hotel, with over 300 pieces of artwork throughout the property. A former jam factory built in 1804, it has be transformed into an exceptional boutique hotel in the perfect location for exploration. Enjoy a stroll through Hobart's legendary and colorful Salamanca Market, taking in the fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, preserves, wines and arts & craft that are on offer. Continue on foot along Hobart’s picturesque waterfront to the Lark Distillery cellar door for a tour of their historic premises where you will gain an understanding of the craft of whisky distillation. Tasmania has all ingredients to make a world class whisky ‐ rich fields of barley, wonderfully pure soft water, highland peat bogs, and the perfect climate ‐ which the Lark Distillery have used to produce premium whisky. Dinner reservations can be made for you this evening.

Day 2 (L)
Your private driver/guide will take you on a Tasmania food and wine tour. Leave Hobart for a drive along the Huon Trail, alongside waterways and secluded beaches, past the coastal towns of Margate and Kettering. Stop in at Grandvewe Sheep Cheesery to discover how our local cheeses are made and continue to Huonville taking in spectacular mountain views as you drive along the beautiful Huon River to Home Hill Winery. After a delicious lunch, drive to Inverawe Gardens in Margate for a tranquil walk among colorful native plants and birds, taking in the water views. Completing your day with a drive to the summit of Mt. Wellington (weather permitting) for panoramic views of Hobart and southern Tasmania. In the evening, your guide will suggest restaurants for dinner.

Day 3
Hobart has an incredible collection of boutique art galleries and historic sites to explore. 15 minutes away is MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), housing a private collection that ranges from ancient Egyptian mummies to some of the world’s most infamous thought provoking contemporary art. A guided day trip to Tasman Island includes the convict settlement at Port Arthur, combined with boat rides beside 300 meter sea cliffs.

Day 4 (L, D)
Drive north today to Freycinet National Park. Your stay here is at award winning Saffire Freycinet, Tasmania’s leading luxury lodge. Gourmet all inclusive meals, complimentary mini-bar, a 60 minute spa treatment and many activities are included. Once settle review the activities on offer to you and choose your adventures. Exploration of nearby wineries, champagne and freshly shucked oysters at an oyster far, a chef-led cooking class, or an indulgent hamper packed for you to enjoy on a self-guided hike of the nearby beaches.

Today is at leisure. Feel a little more active? Join the half day quad bike tour, or a sunset kayak in the bay. Our favorite hike to wine glass bay can be arranged with a delicious BBQ lunch, chef included, on the beach waiting for you (additional cost). If you’re passionate about wildlife, ask us to include Bicheno, only 30 minutes away and offers the most intimate and up close viewing of penguins in Australia.

Day 6 (B)
After breakfast, enjoy an easy 2.5 hour drive North into Launceston. Stop at one of the gourmet local produce stores, pack a hamper and head to Cataract Gorge for a long lunch. Visit the local Boag’s Brewery or visit the wineries located along the Tamar Valley, just outside Launceston. Dinner reservations will be made this evening for you at one of our favorite local gems.

Day 7 Wineries, Wilderness and Wildlife (L, D)
Start your privately guided journey of the Tamar Valley wine region, well known for pinot noir, riesling, chardonnay and sparkling varieties. On to a 4WD adventure in Tasmania's forest. This evening you will experience a private gourmet campfire bush tucker dinner. As you sit by the fire you will watch the valley come to life with wallabies, wombats, possums, platypus just to name a few.

Day 8 Depart
If time permits, enjoy alfresco dining along the waterfront outside your hotel. Drop your rental car at the Launceston flight and connect to your onwards flight.
