Hi there! We have so many clients who contact us about overwater bungalows, searching for that special experience. With a multitude of choices, it can be difficult to pick the right one. As experts in the South Pacific, we can tell you that they are not all the same and some may not be truly overwater. Some properties call their bungalows overwater, when in fact, they only have two stilts in the water and two on land.
We thought we’d put together a list of our favorites, so that you can see what makes each one special.

LikuLiku Lagoon Resort & Spa – Fiji
This is the only resort in Fiji with true overwater bungalows. The great thing here is that the overwater bungalows are separate from the rest of the resort, offering quiet and hardly any foot traffic. The tide does go out once or twice a day, during those times you cannot swim out of your bungalow, but it is short lived. Once the tide rolls back in, the water is deep and teeming with life and great coral. Night light attracts shrimp and fish for viewing. The bungalows have an outdoor shower on your deck and Wi-Fi. Canapés at sunset are exclusive to overwater bungalow guests. Likuliku is perfect for those looking for a romantic getaway and an overwater bungalow experience with Fijian hospitality.
