Te Arai Links is a must-visit destination for anyone in search of the World’s best golf.

South Course: Designed by world-renowned golf architects Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw, The South Course uses the natural dunes, shaped by wind and time, to showcase the area’s extraordinary coastal beauty. Exposed sand, coupled with firm and fast fescue turf to create a course that appeals to golfers of all abilities. With sixteen ocean view golf holes and eight holes bordering directly on the ocean, without question, it will be a photogenic and visually stunning golf course.

North Course: The North Course has been created by Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf Design, whose skill and craftsmanship has been integral to the success of Tara Iti Golf Club, the private, sister course of Te Arai Links. The North Course opened in October 2023.

Stay

The accommodation options at Te Arai Links all share a luxuriously understated aesthetic and uncompromising build quality.

The structures, designed by Studio John Irving Architects, blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, so that the architecture feels that it belongs in this absolutely stunning environment. The interiors, by Jenni Kayne, combine beauty, functionality and authenticity to create spaces that are calm, relaxing and provide enduring comfort.

The Ocean Cottages: Facing north-east to perfectly capture the views and light, the two-bedroom Ocean Cottages by Studio John Irving are modelled on the much-loved Member Cottages of Tara Iti Golf Club. Situated on the edge of the golf course, the Ocean Cottages are luxurious but understated, utilising a colour palette that draws on nature and that works seamlessly with its environment. Inside, there’s 140 m2 (1507sf) of space, plus a patio of 40m2 (430sf). Nestled into the landscape, these Cottages have jaw-dropping views of the course and the Pacific Ocean. Including an outdoor fire pit to utilise the space in all seasons.

The Suites: The Suites at Te Arai Links are luxurious, offering 45m2 (484sf) of beautifully appointed space with contemporary details. The Suites overlook The South Course and in some instances provide views of the Pacific Ocean and islands beyond. Located just a short walk from the South Clubhouse, Pizza Barn and practice facilities, the Suites are located in the heart of the property. Architecturally designed by Studio John Irving, with interiors by Jenni Kayne, these well-proportioned rooms come in two layouts, one king size bed or two queen beds.
