Welcome to Australia! Fly into Melbourne, where your private car will pick you up at the airport and escort you to your hotel ideally situated on Melbourne’s beautiful Yarra River. Explore the excellent art, food, and nightlife of Melbourne. The streets will be buzzing with excitement and you’re sure to make some new friends. Tomorrow, you’ll attend the Australian Open!

Today is the beginning of your 2019 Australian Open celebrations! Take a short stroll along the river to Melbourne Park and jump right into the action with a First Round match in the morning. Enjoy access to The Glasshouse restaurant during this match.

Enjoy the beginning of your day at leisure. Melbourne is a wonderful city for wandering and discovering hidden gems. We can also arrange a sightseeing or food and drink tour to get you acquainted with the city. This evening, return to Melbourne Park for a thrilling Second Round match. Watch in awe as the world’s best players square off and test each other’s skill, determination, courage, and endurance.

Day 4
Pick up your rental car and begin your journey along the Great Ocean Road, one of the most spectacular drives in Australia and the world. Australia’s most famous coastal route gives you endless views of beautiful beaches, cliffs, and waterfalls. After passing the famous Twelve Apostles formation, your first stop will be Port Campbell. This seaside town is ideal for surfing, fishing, and delicious seafood.

Continue along the Great Ocean Road to Robe. Along the way, stop on the beach and look out for whales in Warrnambool. Make your way past dramatic sea cliffs to your cozy accommodations at Ann’s Place Robe, where you can enjoy fresh, local lobster while looking out over the sparkling waters of the bay.

Today, drive from Robe to Adelaide to end your journey on the Great Ocean Road. Along the way, you can stop in national parks, learn about Aboriginal culture, see local wildlife, and visit the wine region of Langhorne Creek. Once in Adelaide, you can explore the vibrant culture, food, and nightlife of South Australia’s capital city.

Drop off your rental car at the Adelaide airport today and take a short flight to Kangaroo Island. This incredible destination offers unparalleled wildlife experiences—it’s commonly referred to as “Australia’s Galapagos.” Get an introduction to island life with a fabulous nature tour complete with an elegant seaside lunch. First, enjoy morning tea with homemade cakes before taking a walk down a country track through eucalyptus trees where koalas snooze overhead. Travel through some of the island’s best farming country to the north coast. Break for lunch and enjoy a delicious meal featuring fresh fish, salads, and fine South Australian wines at a private bush location. At Seal Bay Conservation Park, walk with your guide among Australian sea lions on a beautiful sandy beach and learn about their unique breeding biology. At Cape du Couedic, see fur seals resting on the rocks or frolicking in the surf under Admirals Arch—a spectacular coastal grotto. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch with wine in the bush before exploring more of the island. Depending upon the season, the afternoon might include a visit to “Grassdale” in the heart of Kelly Hill Conservation Park, the secluded pools of the Rocky River, or a rugged South Coast cove.

Make your way to the airport and fly back to Adelaide, the gateway to wine country. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and make a short drive to Barossa Valley. This historic wine region offers fantastic reds, particularly shiraz, and is known for its laid-back atmosphere.
