Australia Vacation Packages: Luxury Tasmania Adventure

Discover the rugged beauty and unique wildlife of Tasmania on this luxurious outdoor adventure!

This Australia Vacation Packages: Luxury Tasmania Adventure was planned for an aunt and nephew team from DC. The wonderful aunt would take each of her nieces and nephews on a trip for their graduation, and this was the choice for her nephew who loved outdoor adventure. Tasmania is a place steeped in history, a place of wild and beautiful landscapes, friendly people and a temperate climate. They were able to walk among Australia’s convict history, as well as witness some of the most beautiful landscapes and some of the most unique wildlife in Australia.

They started their Australia Vacation Packages: Luxury Tasmania Adventure at Saffire Freycinet, Tasmania’s premier luxury lodge. Stylishly designed to show off its stunning natural surroundings, Saffire features breathtaking views of the Hazards mountain range and the rugged Tasmanian coastline. They explored the area on quad bikes, and also took a guided nature tour to encounter Tasmanian Devils in the wild. Back at the lodge, they enjoyed the utmost luxury: exquisite gourmet cuisine, local Tassie and Australian wines, and understated luxury set in one of Australia’s most scenic areas.

Continuing their Australia Vacation Packages: Luxury Tasmania Adventure, they picked up a rental car and drove along the east coast to the capital city of Hobart. Along the way, they were treated to amazing coastal views, beautiful beaches, historical sites, and great local food stops.

In Hobart, they stayed at the Henry Jones Art Hotel, a unique hotel featuring local Tasmanian and Australian art for sale. In Hobart, they strolled along the waterfront and visited the Salamanca Markets for quirky souvenirs. They also took a day trip to the Port Arthur Historical Site to discover Tasmania’s convict settlement history.

All too soon, it was time to head back home. Though their time in Tasmania was short, they saw so much gorgeous and varied scenery and authentic Tassie charm that they had memories to last a lifetime.
