South Africa Golf Vacation

Day 1  Cape Town - George 
From Cape Town International Airport you will catch a flight to George, a beautiful town situated along the Garden Route. Once in George you will take a short drive to your accommodation for the next 3 nights, the beautiful and luxurious Fancourt Hotel. The Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate is set at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains in the heart of the Garden Route, on 350 acres of South African countryside.

Day 2-4  Fancourt Hotel - Golf (B)
While at Fancourt, take advantage of the 3 world-class golf courses, 2 of which have been designed by South African golfing legend, Gary Player. All the courses are renowned for their excellent year-round condition and the attention to detail. For the more serious golfer, visit the TaylorMade Performance Lab where you can enjoy the ultimate in custom fitting. A 2-hour session will assist you in choosing the perfect clubs for you. You can also enjoy indulgent treatments at the health and beauty spa, or choose to be more active at the gym or on the tennis or squash courts. Day trips to surrounding cultural and natural highlights, as well as nearby beaches, can also be arranged.

Day 5-7  Treetop Lodge (B)
Leave Fancourt today and head into the Tsitsikamma Forest, to the exclusive Tsala Treetop Lodge. The lodge is located in the treetops of the Tsitsikamma Forest, and offers beautiful views over the forest canopy. you can enjoy beautiful nature walks and explore the dense surrounding vegetation and wildlife. Plettenberg Bay is just a short drive away, where you can enjoy beautiful beaches and dine in popular restaurants.

Day 8-11  Kruger National Park, Leopard Creek Golf Course (B,L,D)
Leave Tsala Treetops today and head back to the airport in George for your flight to Johannesburg. Once in Johannesburg, board a plane for the airport in Kruger. Transfer to Buhala Game Lodge where you will be spending the next 4 days. This luxury game lodge is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, just outside the famous Kruger National Park. Ideal base for game drives or guided safaris within the park and you can even enjoy game-viewing without leaving the veranda, as there is a waterhole at the bottom of the garden which frequently attracts elephant, bufalo, hippos and many species of antelope. On one of your days here, enjoy a round of golf at the prestigious Leopard Creek Country Club, which is usually accessible to members only.

Day 12  Depart (B)
Leave Kruger today and catch a flight back to Johannesburg, where your South African Holiday will come to an end.
