New Zealand Highlights Package

Visit New Zealand’s 3 best cities on this New Zealand Highlights tour. Get unique experiences like a cruise in Milford Sound, a Wellington foodie tour, wine tasting, and more!

We planned this New Zealand Highlights Package for 2 sisters who were visiting the country for the first time and wanted to see as much as they could. This travel package allowed them to visit New Zealand’s 3 most populous cities and see the picturesque scenery that makes New Zealand so unique.

They began their New Zealand Highlights tour in Queenstown, a lovely city set on the edge of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. This city is renowned for its countless adventure activities, such as bungee jumping, sky diving, mountain biking, and more. While in Queenstown, they took a full-day cruise of Milford Sound, where they took in stunning landscapes and saw unique wildlife. They also enjoyed wine tasting in a region known for its delicious pinot noirs.

Next on their New Zealand Highlights vacation, they traveled to Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, which boasts beautiful views wherever you stand. They took a walking tour of the best foodie sites in Wellington, enjoyed a private tour of the Te Papa national museum, and visited Zealandia, a natural park with a magnificent recreation of New Zealand’s ancient wildlife.

Last on their New Zealand Highlights tour, they spent 3 nights in Auckland. Here, they took a day tour of Auckland, learning about the history of the city, and its beautiful, mountainous surroundings. They also took a ferry out to Waiheke Island and spent a day exploring this fabulous island with rented bicycles.

After getting a taste of New Zealand’s best cities, the sisters’ fabulous holiday came to an end, and they took a non-stop overnight trip back home.
