Arrival into Auckland. A short connecting flight to Queenstown.
Collect rental car at the airport and make your way to your hotel.

Drive QUEENSTOWN to FOX GLACIER along the stunning ruggest west coast.

Drive from Fox Glacier to Greymouth.  Drop off rental car and board the Tranz Alpine Train.
The TranzAlpine scenic train journey travels between Christchurch and Greymouth, from one coast of New Zealand to the other. Climb through lush beach rain forest from the West Coast town of Greymouth into the Southern Alps and descend onto the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.
Welcome to Christchurch, the ‘Garden City’. The Southern Alps provide a fantastic backdrop to this awesome city. Perched on the coast, Christchurch is the doorway to the Canterbury Plains which spread westwards towards the mountains.
