This Fiji Islands Honeymoon was designed for a couple from Boston who wanted to experience 2 different resorts in Fiji, with a mix of adventure and relaxation. We sent them to some of our favorite, most romantic Fiji resorts for an unforgettable beach honeymoon.
We started their Fiji Islands Honeymoon at the Intercontinental Fiji. Nestled amongst 35 acres of tropical gardens, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa boasts one of the most beautiful settings among Fiji resorts. We are located along picturesque Natadola Bay on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu. Protected by a reef that creates an aqua-blue ocean-facing lagoon, Natadola Beach has been voted one of the best beaches in the world.
While at the Intercontinental, they were free to explore the island above and below. They snorkeled in the brilliant blue lagoon, visited a local Fiji town, and strolled through the gorgeous manicured gardens of the resort.
Next for their Fiji Islands Honeymoon, they took a boat transfer to Tokoriki Island Resort. This boutique, adults-only resort creates the sense of your own private haven in beautiful Fiji. Here, they had plenty of time to relax with fabulous spa treatments in a private couples’ spa bure, serenaded by the soft sounds of a waterfall flowing over volcanic rocks. In their Beachfront Bure, they had their own private plunge pool, where they were able to take in the tropical scenery and sip their French sparkling wine.
During their 4 nights at Tokoriki, they also took a visit to a floating bar and pizza restaurant, enjoyed a traditional kava ceremony, and discovered some of the world-class dive sites around the resort.
At last, their Fiji Islands Honeymoon came to an end. Another boat transfer brought them back to the main island, where they were transferred to the airport to begin their journey home.
Suggested Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to beautiful Fiji! Upon arrival at Nadi Airport, you will receive a traditional welcome and shell lei. Your first destination is the 5-star Intercontinental Fiji Beach Resort, where you will spend the next 3 nights indulging your senses. After a long day of traveling, you will feel instantly relaxed with a heartfelt welcome, cool towel, and refreshing drink.

Day 2 – 3
Your time at the Intercontinental is entirely at your leisure. Soak up magnificent beach and tropical rainforest views from your room; enjoy the natural beauty of the lagoon with complimentary snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding; sip delicious Fijian cocktails in the pool, looking out on a breathtaking sunset; and immerse yourself in Fijian culture by visiting a local village or watching the locals make fantastic handicrafts. You will be surrounded by stunning natural scenery and tropical romance.

Day 4
Today, it’s time to say goodbye to the Intercontinental. The staff will give you a small farewell gift to commemorate your time there and wish you safe travels. A short boat transfer brings you to your next destination: Tokoriki Island Resort. This boutique, adults-only property is infused with romance and South Pacific charm. Settle into your Beachfront Bure and enjoy a bottle of French sparkling wine as you relax in your private plunge pool.

Day 5 – 7
Relax and indulge in the luxury day spa or simply soak up the sun by the resort’s horizon edge pool. Experience Fijian culture with a visit to the local village and a traditional kava ceremony. Take a day trip to the local village, island hop with a visit to the floating bar Cloud9 for lunch, or snorkel at Monuriki (made famous by the movie Castaway).

Today, it is time to say goodbye to the beautiful South Pacific and board your flight back home.
