Insider's Tip

Capetown, Battlefields & Beaches

South Africa’s diverse history heritage and culture is as diverse as the cultures that make up the rainbow nation. Start in Cape Town with exploration of Robben Island, Cape Dutch influenced neighborhoods and dramatic mountain landscapes. Cape Town’s museums leave visible traces of the influence of traders from the early 1600’s. Head north to KwaZulu Natal and the Drakensberg mountains for a gourmet farmhouse retreat, wildlife and warm local hospitality. Encounter the history of the Battlefields, before heading to the Elephant coast for a taste of the beach lifestyle of the locals.
