This anniversary couple from Chicago wanted to explore three celebrated South African cities with their luxury holiday. They began with an excursion in Cape Town, where they enjoying the sun on white sandy beaches, shopped at the sophisticated V&A Waterfront and enjoyed some of the best views in the country when they ascended Table Mountain by cable car. Then they flew to Durban and enjoyed some rest and recreation at Umhlanga Rocks, the KwaZulu Natal holiday destination of choice for many locals, before they arrived in Johannesburg where they visited some of the best shopping malls, restaurants and attractions in Gauteng. Gorilla Trekking, the Great Migration and Beaches
This very special Tanzania and Rwanda adventure was planned for a mother and daughter team from Houston who had survived a very difficult year. They wanted a once in a lifetime wildlife experience. They began their adventure with gorilla trekking in the amazing Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, where they got to view the gentle giants. From there, we sent them to Singita’s Grumeti game reserves, where they got to view one of the world’s most magnificent events, the Great Migration. After early mornings and late evenings viewing wildlife in Tanzania and Rwanda, we gave them a stretch at the beach in exotic Zanzibar, where they could indulge in local spices and beautiful waters. They wanted beach and safari, so we started their safari and beach holiday in Kenya at the Selenkay Conservancy and the elephant-rich Amboseli National Park, before they headed north to Lake Nakuru National Park. From there for their amazing Kenya and Seychelles vacation, they made their way to the world-renowned Masai Mara. They continued their holiday with some sun and sand in the idyllic archipelago of the Seychelles. They spent the last 6 days of their Kenya and Seychelles vacation soaking up the warm Seychellois sun, and cooling off in the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean. Suggested Length: 14 Days
African Luxury Safari, Capetown and Wine Country
This vacation was planned for a honeymoon couple that wanted some a bit different and they loved food and wine. So we created this South Africa honeymoon for them. This honeymoon is a blend of self-driving and small group touring which combined South Africa's wild outdoor landscapes, with exceptional cuisine. We started them with an African Safari. Singita Ebony Lodge is truly a luxury safari in South Africa. With only 12 luxurious suites, the all-inclusive experience was a gourmet event, paired with Land Rover safaris and experienced guides and trackers. Then they went on to Capetown for a Cape Malay Cooking Safari. So we created this ultimate and truly luxurious rail expedition through South Africa to Zamibia. This vacation began in Cape Town. Then they traveled through the diverse South African landscape, and enjoyed a 2-night African safari in Kruger National Park. The Rovos Rail luxury train tour then carried them on to Zimbabwe. They spent a night at the Victoria Falls and then crossed over the mighty Zambezi River into Zambia.
